Jesse and Dolores Espinoza are the parents of Lori Espinoza, a graduate of New Mexico Connections Academy. Mr. and Mrs. Espinoza are pleased that New Mexico Connections Academy helped their daughter become a more confident and well-rounded student. They shared their story in a letter to New Mexico Connections Academy:
As of last night, my daughter, Lori Espinoza, completed 100% of her academic requirements for the school year. My wife and I are very proud of Lori.
I also want you to know that enrolling Lori in New Mexico Connections Academy for her senior year was probably the best decision we could have made for her academic success. Lori had her challenges in [a bricks-and-mortar] public school, but once she started coursework at New Mexico Connections Academy, she gained confidence in her abilities; was challenged with the course work; and most importantly, actually learned useful information from the courses she completed.

From my family's experience with [traditional] public schools, there is definitely a place for New Mexico Connections Academy in New Mexico because it provides students (of varying backgrounds and situations) with a viable option that will fit their unique needs, improve their self-esteem, and ultimately lead to success.
